As I said, I am not a coffee drinker so I did not give it serious attention, but that was what I remember being told by both my Doctor and Nut as for the reason to limit coffee and tea. I can not say that I give any faith in it, though, because i have not really looked into it since I never drank much of either before surgery and drink even less of them now.

I was told that I should drink it in moderation and the reason was that it dehydrates you. 

Be glad they are "beer cans" and not cinder blocks!
