How do I know who is Trusworthy?

I want an honest person who will tell me what I need to hear when I need to hear it. Someone that is interested in helping thers than himself and who should I shy away from?

I really don't know who you can trust on the forums.  Hopefully you can trust your Dr/Surgeon.  I would give you honest answers to question I can answer, if not I will say I don't know.  As for the people to shy away from, I would say anyone post smart comments to your post, or putting you down, or even a person that seems like they are the only person with the answers and puts down all others.

Iv'e taken what is posted with a grain of salt.  Your Doctor and NUT are the people to trust in.  We can speak about individual experiences and no two are the same.  You will get a feel for who's who.

What you hear here is the combined experience of a lot of good people.  It has been beneficial to me - but not all of it is applicable.  Your primary source, as already stated, should be Dr. and NUT because, as you will quickly find out, it seems that there are as many programs on how WLS is to be undertaken as there are surgeons.  That said, this is an excellent support group to give you ideas to supplement your sound medical advice.
