Can we talk NFL for a minute...
It's still too early to tell. The Saints and Giants seemed like NFC locks last year ......... both faded. Give it 6 more weeks. A LOT can/will happen.
I think THE story this year is Denver. Lose a good coach and the starting QB .......... and they look better than ever. JM has them playing great fearless football. It's been impressive!!
Everything with this discussion seems to be focuse3d on the AFC. That's OK, but I'm a Eagles fan and quite frankly wouldn't count them out. This weekend is a huge test and I guess we will see. Huge stumble losing to the Raiders, but hey that's why they play 16 games and playoffs. Watch out for the birds!!! They are def as always a contender!!
Anytime a team is flying cross country you never know what will happen. It really can take it out of you. But the Raiders!! They lost to the Raiders!! The Raiders benched Russell (the number 1 pick in the draft) last week. Their #1 pick in the draft this year (#3 over all), made his third catch of the season last week. No Phili showed their stuff and true colors in that game. Good teams blow out bad teams on the road...Or at least win...
Eagles...wildcard...maybe...
Eagles...wildcard...maybe...
now come on, remember last year. No One game them any chance, and theyu were in the NFC championship game!!! Never , Never count them out. Like it or not, they are a good team and Andy Reed is a great coach. I realize I am bias, but they haven't even begun to utilize Vick. Watch for them. Not saying they will be superbowl bound, but they are and will be a contender!!!
Gotta' remember games are won or lost on the field....not on paper. Anything can happen on any given Sunday. I love the Colts but if something happened to Manning they wouldn't be the same. There are some seriously good teams out there this year. I'm glad there's no standout. It makes the season better and the playoffs should be kick ass.
