Can we talk NFL for a minute...

I want to share my thoughts and get your imput.  It seems that (not putting any one team down) there are about 10 really good teams in the NFL.  Yet, I'm thinking that the undefeated teams may not be better than the ones with 1 or 2 losses.  I just don't think New Orleans or Denver (or Minnesota) is better than New England, Pittsburgh or Indianapolis .  Will an AFC wildcard have a better chance this year compared to other years??  Just thinking outloud.  Brian

I'm a New England fan, and I think that the campionship game will come down to Denver and New England, but I do not know which team will win. Both are very tough and it could very well come down to who has the healthiest team and homefield advantage. On the NFC side this is really looking like it may be New Orleans year, but who knows.

SOME FOLKS CALL ME TROUBLE,THEY SAY I'M BAD NEWS,BUT I HAVE GOTTEN USE TO TALKIN TO THE BLUES.

I went back and looked at the standings...think I was wrong on some of these teams.  What I am trying to say is I don't think there is a clear stand out of any team.  A few years back New England looked unbeatable or Indianapolis looked so much better than whatever wild card they were playing (on paper).  It just seems that no one really stands out this year.  Time will tell...

Go Dolphins we are 2-4 over all but 2-0 in our division go figure.

Colts fan here. I know we may not have played alot good teams yet but we have been beating them like we should have been. 41-6 I think and 41-9 the last two weeks. I think there are only 4 teams to look at. And by the way to the New England fan 3 weeks baby and we will see. I know you think that the chap game will be denver and NE. I have no idea how you come up with this becuase until the playoffs start they might meet in the second round. I would put my colts up with anyone and not be woried they are going to loose.

I completely agree. This is turning out to be a weird season. Usually there are 3 tiers: crappy teams that have no chance what so ever, middle of the road hit and miss, and top tier who are definitely going to the playoffs. But this season feels like we have lost that middle tier, you have about 8 teams who are all contenders and everyone else has pretty much given up. With that said I think that Denver is actually legit, and wouldn't be surprised to see them in the Super Bowl. But do I think they are better than the Colts or Patriots? No way...they've just caught more breaks.
