This is the mens board is it NOT

I have seen a LOT of other then helpful bull **** on here , and its coming from the other boards. Lets try not to forget why we are all on this board , to help other MEN . Not back bitting, back stabing and  name calling. Lets try to keep all that BS off of this site ( THE MENS BOARD )  shall we. Its not helpful to anyone .

Some of these posts remind me of the R and R board which could not be a bigger waste of time.  I hope it turns around.  When the men's board started there was humor, comfort and a lot of info.  I hope that the origional philosophy can continue.

We have always welcomed ALL men in here.  Straight, gay, married, single, divorced, fathers, non-fathers, all occupations, all incomes, all races, all ages, all surgery types etc.  As long as you were anatomically correct you were welcome!  If a man did not care to join us then that was his choice.

You guys have been here longer than I have and will know what I'm referring to.  In the past we had some guys who were super defensive of our space when it was encroached on by a woman poster.  Some were down right mean about it!  Myself included.  I've done it in the open and I have used PM's to explain why they were not overtly welcomed.  I've seen some of our new comers chastise other men for reminding the women that this is a Men's board! 

The unwritten rules I was told were women can post asking a question for their men if she was concerned for him.  Post surgery reports like Sassy did for me after my surgery last week or if they are employed by OH.  Other than that they could lurk but not post.  They should care to hear about jock itch and prostate exams as much as we want to hear about shrinking boobs and menstral cycles!

We, the Men's Board, need to get on the same page.  Are we going to be total ******** to the ladies who post here or are we going to be more tolerant?  Are we going to "clean up" our act and be more genteel or still drag our knuckles?  Only option I see is to go to Big Al's, or another group, where posting could be better monitored and if we had a troll slip through they could be removed from the Member's list eliminating the problem.

I've gotten some PM's and seen post blasting Nick, lbsadropping, Brubaker a few others and I but at the same time I've seen some where the ladies posting were posted back to by other ladies telling them to back off the Men's board and leave us alone!  So we do have some allies on OH that understand the male mind.  They may not like it ----- but at least they understand!
