I have had so little swelling or complications I have had to slow myself down on what I am doing during the day.I used no pain meds after released from the hospitial no nausea at all.I am drinking at least 16 ounces of milk along with my protien shakes twice a day along with soup and lots of fluids.I feel very fortunate so far to not have any complications at all.The only problem right now is this damn g-tube I have for another 3 weeks my Dr's protocol for all rny patients.

Sounds like you are doing well indeed. Congrats on your surgery.

Sounds like you are doing great. Prior to surgery all you hear about is the one that has had major complications or has died. I am the same as you, no complications. Dec. will be 3 years for me and have never "yakked" as my surgeon called it. The only problems I have had have been self inflicted, eating to fast or not chewing my food enough or both. In which case I would have liked to have thrown up, "yakked" just to get some relief.
