Has anyone else had around time to eat whether lunch/dinner etc, your hands and feet begin to suddenly get icy and cold. Everyday i am experiencing this and just now am having this again. Stays this way thru the meal and then begins to subside til the next meal.

Any numbness to go with it?

I think coldness in the extremities *can* be a sign of poor circulation.  Assuming you are exercising, etc regularly...you might bounce it off the doc.

Not specific to meal time.
I have been freezing for the last year and a half.
1.  Not enough food to power the body
2.  Not as big, so you gave up the insulation.
Doc said give it time, you might get used to it.
The good thing is that during the summer, I don't just sit around and sweat now.

Good luck, I hope it's nothing serious, just the success of losing weight.

Yes and also "mouse hand" which freezes when I am on the computer for more than 10 minutes.  I am almost 4 years out and still cold.

Thats what i keep telling self that i dont have all that insulation i had before! Now it is one hr after i had lunch and hands and feet are normal again. Later in afternoon nearing dinner time, i will go thru this again. Time will tell.

i developed raynaurds (spelling?) syndrome post op. It is when your hands and feet get extremely cold and you may even develop "blue" finger nails. While their are no studies pointing to it, my doctors said it is related to losing a lot of weight...it kind of shocks your body. I also developed Gilberts syndrome...(high bilirubin levels)..again related to losing 300 lbs. Both are (in general) beneign, just quite annoying.

Cold sensitivity is very common post WLS, I actually had to move out of NY, because I couldn't take another winter. At 500 lbs lbs, I'd sweat even in the middle of a snow storm without a jacket, post op at 195, I was freezing with a sweater, jacket, scarf, hat, gloves, and those heat inserts that hunters use.

i go outside to work in the yard and dress like a blizzard is coming-toboggan/sweatshirt the whole ball of wax. I havent noticed the blue fingernails yet.....i knew going in and losing all this weight it would be different but dang! this has gotten too much.
