COLD HANDS AND FEET
Not specific to meal time.
I have been freezing for the last year and a half.
1. Not enough food to power the body
2. Not as big, so you gave up the insulation.
Doc said give it time, you might get used to it.
The good thing is that during the summer, I don't just sit around and sweat now.
Good luck, I hope it's nothing serious, just the success of losing weight.

The first time you do something - It's going to be a personal record!
Yes and also "mouse hand" which freezes when I am on the computer for more than 10 minutes. I am almost 4 years out and still cold.

i developed raynaurds (spelling?) syndrome post op. It is when your hands and feet get extremely cold and you may even develop "blue" finger nails. While their are no studies pointing to it, my doctors said it is related to losing a lot of weight...it kind of shocks your body. I also developed Gilberts syndrome...(high bilirubin levels)..again related to losing 300 lbs. Both are (in general) beneign, just quite annoying.
Cold sensitivity is very common post WLS, I actually had to move out of NY, because I couldn't take another winter. At 500 lbs lbs, I'd sweat even in the middle of a snow storm without a jacket, post op at 195, I was freezing with a sweater, jacket, scarf, hat, gloves, and those heat inserts that hunters use.
