Rambling and Thinking Out Loud

So, I went to my informational seminar last night, and it was decent.  Bunch of stuff I already knew, but they want you to go before you sign up for a consultation.

Called today to schedule my consultation -- November 9th.  Almost 3 weeks out.  Plus, they told me that they require a 6 month program under their supervision before they refer to the surgeons.  So that'd be May if everything went according to plan.

I understand that the 6 month thing is good, but I am not a good at the hurry up and wait thing.

I suppose I can be happy that it will give the surgeon 7 more months of practice before he has to cut me open :)

Enjoy the hurry up and wait thing ... use the time to soak up all the info you can.

And dontcha think there's a reason that docs call their business models "practices"?  Fortunately, most of our docs have gotten it right!
