How do I get a yeast infection

OK, maybe that's an odd title, but here's the deal.

I've got a minor ass-ton of extra skin hanging where my eighty-six-pack used to be. My surgeon confirmed that the majority of what's left there is skin and some fat he thinks is pretty resistant to any exercise.

His advice was to do as much core work as possible with my personal trainer for the next couple of months, then cut it off.

Who's been through the tuck? I'm going to schedule to meet with the PS in the early part of next year for a consult to see what I'm coming up against.

I've been told a few times that if you can prove a history of yeast infections, you have a chance at insurance picking it up. I've got REALLY great insurance, so I want to look into this.

I've definitely had yeast infections in the folds before, but I'm such a terrible clean freak that I do everything known to man to get rid of them super fast. I guess I've gotta relax on that for a while.

Who knows something?

Assuming that you are not joking, I doubt that insurance would cover because of yeast infections at this point in your life.  I mean that you probably had more of them when you were heavier.  The best ways to care for them is to properly clean the area, dry it, and apply powder on a regular basis as a preventative.  If you keep getting the infectios, you can treat them with Lotramin or any similar product for jock itch or athlete's foot since they treat yeast infections that grow in moist areas.  Since the preventative care is easy and inexpensive and since the treatment is also inexpensive, I doubt that having yeast infections in the folds of your skin would qualify as a sole reason for ins to cover it.

Get with a woman when she is "baking bread"?  (has a yeast infection in her ****)

DOCUMENT!  DOCUMENT!  DOCUMENT!

If you can show a history of having infections in your folds you may get your insurance to cover it.  Means you're going to have to run to your doctor every time you get one.  May only cover the panni removal and not a full tuck but while the PS is in there it might be worth paying the difference out of pocket to get it done.

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

1-800-Call-HOOKER....

just kidding...i have heard document it 4-5 times with your doc....then let it get real bad, flair up, and then take many pictures...to be subitted to the insurance company.

This is third hand info, so take it with a grain of salt.

If you have a good relationship with your doc, i would ask him/her.

Good luck!

Crying laughing @  "where my eighty-six-pack used to be"...

lol I have a 106 pack.

and regarding the other thing, I know my insurance company will approve it if the excess skin hangs below the pubis area.

I had a lower body lift, and a chest reduction...both were covered by insurance, i ended up paying less then 400 dollars for 75k dollars worth of surgery.

My advice is document as much as you can. Go to a dermatologist, try the different creams they'll give you to control rash issues. I know BC/BS is very good at covering tummy tucks if you have lost over 100 lbs. In addition to documenting skin issues, you should be documenting any lower back issues that hanging skin can cause. If you go to a chiropractor or your PCP make sure you mention if you are having this kind of issue.

Honestly I wouldn't waste your time "working on your core" and then cutting it off, what i would wait for is you are at a stable weight for at least 6 months. You don't want to lose a significant amount of weight post surgery, because you'll have more skin....and you don't want ot regain a lot of weight, because it will stretch the scars.

I have been documen ting since pre-op on the advice of some here. It get worse when its hot but has been real bad the last few weeks. Several trip to the Dermo and lots of documentation. My insurance will cover PS if I have lost more than 100Lbs and am least one year out. I am shopping for a surgeon locally nowe. I found one but he doesn't take insurance, cash only.

as for relief your Doc will give you many creams some work for a little bit most don't. Vagasil works best for the yeast infections. Yeah THAT vagasil for the hooch
