OT: Good follow-up on DirectTV
The techs came to my house today. The problem with my DirectTV DVR was that it had seized up. Therefor, I lost the material that was on it which was only about 10 hours worth. In turning the satellite, the tech didn't like the readings he was getting: he said he was only getting an 80% reading on one and a 20% on the other. So, he went up on the roof to examine the dish. It's fairly old and he replaced the transponder and realigned the dish. I have the protection plan and did not have to pay an additional charge for the services.
