Sunday Weigh In - Getcho Ass on the Scale
I thought I really had a good week. One great and one pretty decent lifting w/o. Three days of 45 minutes or more on the elliptical. Walked a total of 19.5 miles over the course of the wk. Did a pretty respectable job with the groceries. And the results were...........I gained 2.5 lbs.
Don't know why. Don't understand it. But I'm not gonna fret about it. Tape measure says I'm still going in the right direction. O.5" off of my abdomen and upper thigh, and 1" off my butt in the past 2 wks. I know getting the tape out probably seems kind of womanly, but it helps me stay focused and I highly reccomend it.
Day of surgery 11/26/07: 456 lbs
Lowest ever 10/31/08: 255 lbs
Last wk: 262.4 lbs
Today: 265 lbs
Let's hear it men. Brag or ***** I don't really care. Just tell it.
The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or drinking....... If he does he is certainly a damn fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a free man any more than a dog.

On that subject found out gall bladder has got to go.

First interview went well, I think. Still had some other applicants to look at so may have been a wash or may still lead to an offer. Standing by to find out. Pay stinks but plenty of perks to compensate.
Second place will not have a Board till the 26th at the earliest. So much to girlfriend's chagrin I'm staying in Texas till then and having my gall bladder out while I'm waiting. She is coming here, both definitions, this weekend!

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!
Highest weight : 354 (6 months pre-op)
Day of surgery : 311
Last week : 245

Had a good week I guess....the scale was playing back and forth with me. It seems I lost the 3 pounds quickly in the beginning of the week, then all of a sudden, the scale jumped up a couple of pounds and stayed there several days....then came back down to the 3 pound weight loss as of this morning again. I hate when the scale tortures me like that LOL, but a loss is a loss and i'm greatful for every pound, even if it's a 1.
Even though at times i'm so frustrated with how 'slow' my process is (which it really isn't if i think rationally), I can't help but wonder how I would look if I continued at this pace.....by the time i'm 12 months out, i'd be down to around 150 or less if I continued with a 3 pound average weight loss a week. THAT'S WAY TOO SMALL......i'd never want to be that small.....has anyone had those fears or concerns.....about not wanting to lose TOO much weight?

I lost 13 lbs since surgery... 10 of those lbs were lost during the past week. I can hardly wait until I'm obese. (instead of morbidly obese)
