3 years out today...

Hey, just letting you know it has been 3 years.  I have put on some weight but still have kept a lot of it off.  Time starts to fly after awhile when we are just living life and doing our normal routines.  I've put 2 new photos on my profile.  One from today...3 years out and the other was 2 months before surgery.  For you people on the fence about surgery...go for it.  You won't regret it.  For those who have just had surgery...hang in there, it does get better.  Thanks for you old timers out there for leading the way and answering my questions at all hours of the day and night.  I appreciate all of you on these boards, which makes this a great place for support.  Love to all.  Brian

You look pretty healthy Brian. A good testament to WLS.  We need more pics like yours.  Keeps the guys going.
I leveled off for 1.5 mos at 198.  Cant break it, but wearing a honest 36" jean and thats OK for me.

Um. well, ah, that should be congrats on the FART getting so old.. no,  that's not it!  Well congrats on a great OH seniority FART  ...  Oh, hell, you know what I mean, even when I roast you a bit! Congrats on three years of success!

Congratulations on your success!  I appreciate that you continue to be active on this Forum.  I also appreciate the fact that you occasionally go over to the Main Forum and provide a quick link for any men there to find us.  You know that it is frustrating for men to be on OH for a few months before they find out we are here.  I've written to Member Services about this a few times but they just ignore me.  I guess men aren't that important to them since the overwhelming number of peoople getting WLS are women.

I did go back to your profile and look at your pictures.  There is quite a difference.  I encourage other men to look at members' profiles as well as to link on their Latest Posts to better remember the members.

Thanks for leading the way. I'm coming up on 2 years out myself. I agree with every thing you've said in your post. I lost 200 the first 11 months, gained back about 25 over the next 8 months and have now lost 15 of those 25 over the past 6wks. But it takes old fashioned work to lose it at this stage. The magic of the bypass is a thing of the past. But the good thing is that I can work hard at it now whereas before I would've tuckered out and given up after just a little bit of work.

Wow, has it been so long? I'm coming up on three in December, too.
