Water by the night stand?

I keep a jug of water next to my bed. If I wake up at night.. I take a few sips.

Does anyone else do that?  How much do you drink after going to bed?

I have a container of water by the bed.  The only time I wake up, though, is if I have to pee.  And because of the cpap, I'm thinking more about rehydrating my throat than the rest of my body.

Yes, I always keep a bottle of water by my side, day and night. If I wake up I take a sip and go back to bed. I have 2 refillable, gradated, PB free (My daughter insisted on this) water bottles that I always keep full and with me. It allows me to keep accurate track of every ounce I drink and always have a drink on hand. Most of the time they are filled with Crystal Lite or similar sugar free flavored drink.

Drinking plain water always reminds me of this W.C. Fields quote:
"Why would anyone want to drink what fish use for a toilet?"
"I refuse to measure success in pounds lost, but rather in life gained!"

Yes I do too. Some times I drink it all ( 32oz) some times I don't even touch it.

Good health and best wishes

No. Prior to surgery if I woke up at night I would go to the fridge and get a big gulp of Fresca. Man I use to love that stuff. I haven't had a soda in 3 years. I know if I start back I will be hooked again.
I never think about what I drink any more. I have made it such a habit I know I get in my fluids every day. I start off the morning with a cup of coffee, then one or two 1 liter bottles of water at work with another cup of coffee or two mixed in. Run after work and drink 8 oz of low fat chocolate milk and a 16 oz bottle of sports drink. Then throw in 2 or 3 SF Popsicles and more water as desired. When I say water I mean water with some sort of SF drink mix.

I have one of those travel cups and fill it with ice and water before I go tro bed then drink if I wake up during the night. It hold a little more than two cups and I never fini**** but it helps. Does make me wake to pee often so its a cycle I guess.

I have a water bottle I keep by the bed... if I wake up enough to think about it, I'll take a sip. I often wake in the morning with really dry throat and lips.
