You can't substitute an egg for a 4 oz meat serving?

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

doc wants me to loose 50 or so lbs....so doing an intensive 3 month program with NUT visits....

can have 3 shakes a day, with 4 oz of lean meat, and a cup of veggies....

1st week, so it is tough.

i am sure i will have an egg in the future........so that should help....

Travis.  The surgeon wants to improve your chances of  success by losing the fifty.  When I first had my meeting with the surgeon in April.. He wanted me to drop from almost 435 to 405 pounds.  I listened to the nutritionist and even went beyond what she asked of me. By my surgery date, 12 days ago I didn't weigh the 405 pounds requested by the surgeon... I weighed 322 lbs.  The secret? Stick to the plan and keep track of what you eat religiously.  I would only allow myself one MEAL per month to stray.. and even then I would write down what I ate and keep track of the calories etc.

That's just me though.
