Dropped .4 of pound. Not much but going the right direction!![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/_shared/images/smiley/msn/biggrin2.gif)
Needless to say it is nice to see the Sun come out over Georgia again. Lots of people affected by the storms. Sad part is that GA, unless you live in a designated flood plain, does not require flood insurance. These floods have really messed up a lot of life for a lot of folks.

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!
Had my sixth month surgiversary this past week. Consult weight was 280, day of surgery was 272, I lost 64 pounds the first three months, and about 13 the last three months. Current weight which is lowest weight is 195.4. Still need to concentrate on getting a good cardio and strength schedule going. It is pretty much hit or miss right now. Everyone have a great week!
318.0: all time high
302.0: start of WLS process 10/08
286.0: surgery day 4/30/09
219.5: this morning 9/27/09
It's only a half-pound under and will fluctuate over the next couple of days, but it sure is nice to see that middle number change again. A couple more times of doing that, and I'll see the front number change, also! (I won't change the ticker until there's a little consistency.)
I'm probably running about 5-6 pounds a month at just about four months post-op. A far cry from the 25 pounds the first month, but slow and steady wins the race. Like Xenia, need to get a cardio and resistance plan in place to keep the progress going. Making that a priority is tough, tough, tough, even though I do try to walk to various places around town when time allows. Exercise continues to be my challenge.

Thanks for getting this going, Don.
Had a tough week. Stayed tired all week and really had to mentally whip myself into working out any at all. And then, my workouts were low intensity and unsatisfying. But..........
I weighed in at 267 this morning which is 2.4 lbs less than last wk and down 13 lbs in the last 5 wks. I'll take it.

The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or drinking....... If he does he is certainly a damn fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a free man any more than a dog.
No problem. Curse of being in Eastern time zone - I'm awake on a Sunday morning when most everbody else, except our members who are of the cloth, are still in bed! Next week I'll get it started then I've got to break down and get on the road to Dallas to come see Dr. Kuhn on Tuesday.

Hey! One week post op and I GAINED 6 lbs. Doc says probably was all the liquid from the I.V.'s in the hospital. And to think a nurse shoved a catheter up my schlong because she was afraid I was dehydrating! What a way to be woken up at 1AM!
