Football Week #2
Ok guys I didn't get to watch much football this past weekend. I was on call and spent most of the time at the hospital so I don't have much input or feedback on the season thus far. Let's hear from you guys. Did your favorite team(s) win? How did they do? Looks to me like some of the old powerhouses have lost some of their might.

49ers are 2-0...I'd be happy if they made the wildcard this year...Just to make the playoffs. The one I really follow is Cal...#6 in the nation...I don't think so...They are very good though. They'll have a major test their next 3 games...3 ranked teams in 4 weeks. Still think the Pac 10 gets overlooked while the SEC gets all the ranking. USC beats Ohio State (in Ohio), then loses to Washington. Is Washington better than Ohio State? Cal is 0-0 in the Pac 10...The cream will rise to the top...
Coach meyer and coack kiffin had some war of words after the florida-tenn games very humurous. The SEC is apparently the dominate conference again in college.Ole Miss was upset by South Carolina Coached by the Ole ball coach Spurrier. My Dolphins lost a heartbreaker monday night 0-2 same as last year then they wen't on a run.Go Gators!
Most of the college teams I follow lost on 09-26. Rutgers won, but they're just my alma mater and are not that good. Plus, Cincy's at the top of their conference and may be the best college team in Ohio this year. It was a little scary watching the QB from U of Fla get knocked out yesterday. Tebold may or may not have a career in the NFL. Judging by past misreads by scouts, I suspect any team will do well if they get him.
With the pros, I've lived in the Philly area for almost 30 years and have become an Eagles Fan. However, I've been a Jets fan since I was a kid and my wife has been a Giants fan since she was 5 ( and she's 56 now). We both loved watching the Gints beat the Cowboys last Sun. Everyone in the East hates the Cowboys. There's a friendly rivalry among the NFC East teams but they all hate the Cowboys. And, I've heard that many Cowboys fans can't stand Jerry Jones.
