If all goes well, the Clinic will only have you on the full liquid for a week before moving you into pureed foods, so don't overload on those things - my surgery was on Thursday afternoon, had first clear liquids after pouch test on Friday morning, left the hospital Saturday noontime on full liquids, and when drain came out on Monday was told to start purees the next Friday, one week after surgery.
I had protein powders and other materials for shakes, sugar-free jello cups, skim milk, and I can't remember what else - I stayed pretty close to the list in the blue and white book that my NUT (Ellen) went through. I never used the non-fat dry milk; I preferred to add protein powder rather than deal with the taste of NFDM. I would suggest planning for a week of full liquid and a week of pureed foods.

SF Popsicles out the wazoo!
17 months out and I still do two boxes a week. Crystal light to add to your water. Water will taste crappy because of the way surgery effects your tastebuds. SF Jello and broth. Your doc should have a diet/eating program he/she will want you on.
When you get to purees/soft foods it gets better. Give it several months and you'll be chomping on T-bones, lobster and fish like the "old" days! Run this over on the RNY board I'm sure the ladies there will have more suggestions.

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!
The answers you've already received are the ones you'll get from most people. I just want to add that I suggest that you get some DaVinciGourmet SF/FF syrups as flavoring for those shakes. I get vanilla protein shakes and add various flavors to them. You can look them up at www.netrition.com and pick among the 45 flavors currently offered. I like caramel or hazel nut with my coffee, but I like most of the fruit flavors in the shakes. I did find that the strawberry flavor was too faint for my tastes. They go for about $7.95 per 750ml bottle. My wife gets a few flavors at Sam's Club for $4.99 per bottle. I currently use EAS protein Powder that I get by the 5 lb bag at Walmart for a fairly cheap price.
I was taking Isopure protien drinks, the zero carb ones. If you havent done so find a protien you can drink now. That way you arent rrying to figure it all out after. Although, the Isopure is very untasty! I now use the EAS protein from Sams, it is a big bag, no scoop, but the powdered drinks all measure pretty much the same.
