Pre-op Questions...
My pre-op appointment is September 30th...
They said the appointment will take four hours!
Why, I have no clue?
What should/could I expect in these four hours? Is this pre-op liquid protein diet standard or does it vary by surgeon?

Well Ron M from Canada... I'll see you in the lobby about 7:15 or so! Perhaps we can get in a few words before this all starts?

My pre-op apponitments included the following:
* Pre-op labs
* Physical by an internist to be cleared for surgery
* Anesthesia screening
* Admitting paperwork
* Surgeon
* Final training with a surgical nurse
So it's probably not just one appointment butmultiple appointments.
The pre-op liquid protein diet varies dramatically - from 12 weeks to one day, based on what I have read here. Mine was two weeks.
