Football......You Bet!!!!

My ECU Pirates beat ASU Saturday and my Tarheels also won against the Citadel.  Unfortunately, the Panthers are 0-3 during the preseason.  I think its going to be a long year!  Took the family to a high school game last Friday.  Four tickets and four hotdogs with drinks later, I was out over $40!!  Holy cow!!!

 I live less than 5 minutes from Indiana University.  Every year I try to catch a college football game or two.  IU Memorial Stadium is a great place to see a lousy football team.  I also used to live right beside the Indianapolis Colts Training Complex.....that was pretty cool.

well was there Thursday night to see the IU game and let me tell you i thought here we go again. They did hang on didnt they? The new stadium is nice but as the papers said WHEN IS IT ALL GOING TO END? on getting the team on a new path. Guess i will go again to next one and see if there if anything improved on last game.It was an atmosphere of a carnival believe me!

In Ohio, everyone is a Buckeye fan - even those of us who went to Mid-American conference schools like Bowling Green.  As far as pros, I'm curious to see if Mangini is the answer for the Browns or not - he's sure jerking everyone around on the Quinn v. Anderson quarterback issue.  But he's a disciple of Belichick.

It's gonna be a great year for Texas...

With Bradford out of the running, it's between Tebow and McCoy for the Heisman. Either way, McCoy will lead us to the promised land.

I'll jinx them now...Cal is in the top ten!!!  I can't believe ESPN has the Ohio State-USC game and ABC has the U of M-ND game.  I only have a TV antenna...May not bother to go find a tube to watch it.
