I am 4 weeks out. I have lost 52 pounds. Glad of that, but seem to be so down. This is the HARDEST thing I have ever done. Just trying to eat so very slow, and not drink, do my protein shakes and take the vitamins. Did anyone else feel down for a while and wonder if you even did the right thing? I wanted this so bad, and know I can't go back.. but it is HARD. I have NO desire to make love to my wife. Is this normal? Things didn't work too well before surgery and we were looking forward to AFTER surgery for things to be better. Will it get better? I don't know .. depends on what your wife looks like .. ![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/_shared/images/smiley/msn/lol.gif)
But seriously, usually libido kicks into high gear @ a month out .. with all the hormones flowing and such and the extra energy and higher self-esteem w. the weight loss .. I'd say you're just going through an emotional frump right now ..
btw, if it's HARD now, isn't that a good thing?

Frank talk about the DS / "All I ever wanted to be was thin, like that Rolling Stones dude ... "
HW/461 LW/251 GW/189 CW/274 (yep, a DS semi-failure - it happens :-( )
