LAMO

I went down to Registration, here at the Hospital where I work, to get our morning paperwork.  As I was walking out the Registration Clerk asked me "have you lost some weight?"  "Your face looks thinner."  My reply was "yes I've lost a little weight....I've lost almost 120lbs in 4 months."  Her jaw hit the floor.  I just smiled.  She said I guess I've never really paid attention to how big you were.  In 4 months I've gone from a 5x scrub to a xl/2x scrub....some people.

one of  the guys here at work said to me yesterday that Keith is up to something...looking me over. i said yea a little something and proceeded to tell him about it. Everyone beginning to call me skinny here at work and of course....that makes the head float down the halls... tried the scrambled eggs thing this morning as on the way to work i thought....im going to try em again....two bites and the wastebasket was my friend. soooooooooo  those are on hold for a while.....Well boy you ought to be floating!

Skinny, that's awesome!  I the same way about eggs.  I still can't even stand thinking about eating them.  I hope that changes for me.  I do like eggs.

Congrats Duane. Won't be much longer til you start getting the "You're getting too thin" comments! 

When people started that with me, I told them it was where I shaved. I had a beard for over 20 years and after my face got thinner it seemed my gray beard stuck out like a sore thumb. My mustache has some brown left in it so I kept it. When I see people I haven't ran across since surgery and they ask me what happened I tell them I just look thinner where I shaved. Of course going from size 54 pants to 32, most don't have a clue who I am. I speak to people and talk to them and they don't know who I am till I tell them. You can have fun messing with people if you want. Tell them things you know about them and they don't have a clue how you know. There was one lady I know that would see me riding my motorcycle into work and told she told her husband some thing was happening to me. I was melting. I really enjoyed that one.

Maybe you can spread a rumor around the hospital that you have cancer...thus the weightloss.  Just share in with a couple "close friends"...they must not share it with anyone else...see how fast the rumor spreads!!
