One year anniversary and
I'm going camping to celebrate. My actual surgery date was August 18th 2008 but I'll be tent camping with family so I'll be away from the forum. It's been a great year, filled with big and small victories and I look forward to what the future will bring.
This is my first camping trip since childhood and the first trip for my two kids. We hope to swim in the lake and streams, hike the trails, fish for our dinner and lay out under the stars. Last year I would have been looking forward to chinese take out, a stack of movies and the comfortable sag of my recliner. What a wonderful difference a year (and 140 pounds) makes!!
