Hi there

     I just noticed that mens forum, and figured that I would say HEY!!  Its nice to see the guys get together and actually talk about the changes we have made.  Well, I had my surgery on June 22, 2009 and today it my 7th week post-op starting at a weight of 327, and I offically lost 60lbs since the big day.  Its been an amazing ride so far, and I know it has just started.  I have been very lucky (knock on wood) that everything has gone smooth with recovery and especially eating.  I hope to gather advice and support now that I found the mens forum.

    Yes this is the men's locker room. For the most part women are not welcome here. They dominate so many of the other forums that this is the men's sanctuary. Women are only allowed to post here if they are an OH staffer or are asking questions in behalf of their male significant other. We do have a different tone to the forum as there is more guy talk here.  I am sure than many of the other guys can fill you in on this forum better than I can. Welcome.

Nick forgot to mention a few things.  No more than three emoticons per post.  A FART, in all caps, is an acronym for Fantastic, Awesome, Remarkable, Terrific.  We have those instead of the female WOW.  Also when you break sub 200 lbs it is not "onederland" here - we call it Century City.  In here we spit, scratch, cuss with impunity!   We can't keep the females from lurking and reading but when they post we tend to bristle up and run them off.  There is enough talk about TOM etc on the other boards!
