Let me set your mind at ease.
You will have to be carefull what you eat for the first year, after that you should be able to eat anything that you want too. You may only be able to eat 1 piece of pizza, but you will be able to eat it. Cheeseburger, fries, sausage, anything in maderation, but to be completely honest, you won't want to eat that crap. Your tastes will change and you won't even miss your old food friends. You will have a whole new life and a different appetite.
Liek you I worried about this, I remember making a big deal out of "the last Whopper" I would ever be able to eat. Well it wasn't the last whopper I would ever eat, but it was the last whopper I craved.
Don't let the fear of a "new" diet consume you. Take it a day at a time and you WILL be glad you did and you won't miss out on anything, in fact you will "eat to live" not live to eat.

Alcohol is OK in extreme moderation for me. I'll be a year out next week and I'm holding right around 180 since mid June. I don't want to lose any more so I've experimented with adding new foods back in limited quantities. I average about 2-3 beers a week, never more than one in a day. I don't miss the fried foods other than an occasional hot wing or 3. I've been traveling a lot for work lately and find I actually drop 2-3 pounds when I'm out of town since I don't snack at night and I'm more strict with my diet. When I'm home, I eat a small portion of whatever the wife and kids are eating.
I'm just over a year and a half out and can eat most anything but in very small quantities. The foods that do kill me are rice and pasta. I ate about 1/3 cup of cooked spaghetti last week and put me down for the count. Came back out the top end about 45 minutes later. Tried some fried rice about a year out, wont try that again.
