question.. anybody here tonight

I have my surgery tomorrow morning at 11:30 am.
does anyone know/remember if we are supposed to take our Vitamins morning of surgery?

Since someone might not see your message until in the morning--I'll answer and then be gone.

You are to to have NOTHING by mouth after midnight.
If your surgeon told you it was ok to take your morning dosages of any medications, then do so, but NOTHING else by mouth.  
Anything in your stomach CAN cause them to cancel your surgery.
You've come this far... don't  chance it.

thanks a bunch Sandyfeets... for the reminder... i have not been a vitamin taker in the past and it is new to me for pre-surgery. So i have been a bit anal about taking them and had a brain fart..

You're probably on your way to the hospital as I write this ... but come back to the locker room in a few days and tell us how everything went.
