Disneyworld Update...

Had a pretty cool FART.  Just 2 years ago on our first trip to Disney, I had to ride the little go cart everywhere, couldnt really walk far, or have much fun with my kid and wife.  What a difference dropping 230 lbs can make.  Not only did I ride EVERYTHING on my second Disney trip this week (coasters and all) and fit comfortably (even in the little tea cup ride), but I realized I was able to walk thru turnstyles without slipping thru sideways.  I ate at restaurants and didnt worry about fitting in a booth.  (Yes I indulged, but I did so responsibly and made sure that I exercised each morning to help burn those chocolate covered bananas off).  I never thought about what people were thinking about the 'fat man at the amusement park' because he wasnt there, or at least it wasnt me this time  I enjoyed being able to move (and did I move,,, my pedometer clocked an amazing 71 miles walked in the last 7 days).  And I don't sweat anymore, it was 100 degrees in Orlando and there I was, trotting away, doing my thing, and never really breaking a sweat.  Just one year ago, I would have been asking for oxygen and sweating buckets.  BTW, Expedition Everest and the Seaworld Kraken rock...

Well, i just wanted to share a little of my good news.  I do hope and wish you all the same successes I have been so fortunate to reap from the WLS.  And if your  reading this post and still on the fence about what to do because your unsure it will work, HELLO.  I am living proof that this procedure works.  While the decision to have this done is a truly personal one, don't procrastinate about it because you are unsure if you will be able to do this.  Make your decision and move forward with it.  And if you decide to do this, follow your program and in 12 months, you'll be riding those coasters just like me.

Now that is one Huge FART! Being able to do things like that, especially with your family is what this journey is all about. Congrats.

I remember posting on a Disney site 10 years ago about going to Blizzard beach as a fat person.  People calmed my fears and I went and had a great time.  Still, it's nothing as compared to going as a relatively small person.

Congrats on being able to have a great time!
