BBQ sauce

Anybody found a decent low-sugar/fat BBQ sauce?  I would like to try to add a little of the flavor and haven't found anything that isn't ridiculously high in sugar.  I found some recipes on line, but I would rather find something already bottled.

Hard to substitute that glazed sugar flavor.  You could try a good quality salsa with a little red wine in it.

If you can find it you might try Heinz low carb ketchup with some vinegar mixed in and a touch of garlic.

Since I dump big time on very little sugar, anything over 6 grams, I am very cautious of the amounts of sugar in everything I buy. Kraft light has only 5 grams of sugar and tastes great! I use it all the time to BBQ with. Since I hunt wild boars that can be quite often at my house. Come on up to Michigan and I will toss some ribs on the grill some weekend and you can try it for yourself. Oh, but then again, I am sure that Kraft products are available everywhere. Give it a try.

Actually the wild boar ribs are pretty much available everywhere in the US. It's the "shopping for them" that's a challenge. Helps if you are a true OH barbarian as I am.

Thats a big problem for me.  I tried some LLoyds ribs 5 mos out and NEVER AGAIN . wife had the whole rack less 3 bites.  I fell to the temptation queen/***** at the meat case

I've gotta find a substitue.  A1+ honey ketchup only goes so far

I buy all my salad dressings and so on online from Walden Farms. All their stuff is calorie free and carb free. They also have a BBQ sauce but I have never tried it. My whole family likes the Salad dressings and their syrups though. Netrition carries Walden Frms at a lower price too and is lower on shipping

Hope this helps

I bought some of the Kraft's light that Nick suggested, and I'll give it two thumbs up!  Yes, it's thinner than most sauces, but the flavor is decent and it was good to the pouch.  I put it on a little pre-cooked sliced pork.  Thanks, Nick!

Since I dump on almost everything if it passes my pouch test it has to be safe for most other people. You are welcome.
