I am going out on a limb here

Anyone have any Nexium they don't need anymore? Or you live in Canada and can get it cheap..   I am out of what the docs gave me, went to fill a scrip and that **** is 200.00 for 30 tabs...  but 30 tabs of Percocet is 28.00... go figure..

not asking for a hand out... just not going to pay crack price for it.. least till insurace I bought kicks in.. Have labs coming up so figured I'd bite the bullet and get a plan

Sorry, can't help you out there.  I used the generic omperazole capsules from Costco.  If there is one near you, you might want to check their prescription prices for Nexium.  They give an online price of $160 for 20MG tabs and $173 for 40MG.  I wonder if you can split the 40MG capsules to get a double supply of 20's?

Thank you Dragon. I got the Generic Prilosec from Costco.. 42 tabs for $17.00,  I took one 20mg and feel fine.

 

Glad to hear it's working well.  I must admit that I really didn't take the acid reducers like I should.  I've never had acid problems and take all of the vitamins - multi, calcium, b12, etc.  I took the acid reducers for the 1st 3 months but then kinda dropped them with no ill results.  I'll be a year out in a couple of weeks and still don't have any issues.

I was just under 2 months when i figured I should still be taking it.  If i eat cheese or anything acidic my stomach growls at me.  I can press on, eat it and ignore the feeling but its a lil uncomfortable..

 I use Prevacid and I think it's somewhere around 125 a month for 30mg tabs. I love em though, but I also have insurance. So hopefully your coverage will kick in and you won't have to pay those ridiculous out of pocket prices.

I'm on a generic called Famotidine, which is a Pepcid-like formulation.  It just came through on a list of cheap drugs that my mother's insurance offers - 90 day supply for $9.  I think I pay $34 for a generic like that.  But that's with insurance - I didn't check to see what the full cost was.

At one year my surgeon did a scope and found I had a mild irritation. Put me on Prevacid Solutab, you let it dissolve on your tongue and then swallow it. Did another scope in thirty days and said every thing was fine. After the second scope he told me to take one every other day as a preventative measure. My insurance covers it so I get a ninety day supply for sixty dollars. Being I take it every other day this years supply will last me two years. I order it every three months like I am suppose, the expiration date is 2011 so it will last through next year easy. What really surprised me was that at the time I didn't really have any acid reflux problems. He does the scope at a year out to most all his patients. Really shocked me too that he told me to take it every other day when I asked him about something cheaper.
