First 3 months/First 100lbs
Just wondering what you guys lost during your first three months post-op and or when you lost your first 100lbs? I know that there are a lot of variables from one person to another and no two people will lose the same amount at the same time but I am curious.
I've lost 95lbs. in eleven weeks and am 6'0'' tall. I've always worked out and been quite active. Definitely not a couch potato.

I'm a testament to people losing "differently". i'm 2 months out and only down around 32-40 depending on the scale (my doctor's scale always has better results than mine at home...LOL).
However, I lost 40+ pounds pre-op (so totally, i'm down over 70 pounds), which I think has contributed to my slower post op loss, as I was already down a lot......had a stall for 4 weeks at week 3 after surgery.....just a mess. LOL...but i'm losing again now, and hopefully it won't stall again anytime soon.

You are right on target. I was 282 the day of surgery (lightweight I know). I hit my goal of 190 at 6 months and 10 days. Men really do lose it faster. I have noticed over the years that those who are active (it really doesn't matter what they are doing), tend to loose the weight faster. I was losing about 1 1/2 pounds a day early on (it really takes it out of you). The weightloss became slower and slower as I neared goal...But the energy level got better and better as I neared goal!! Enjoy the ride. Brian
