For those of you that don't cook nightly, what WLS friendly frozen dinners do you eat that can be purchased at most grocery stores? I found a Lean Cuisine- Roasted Garlic Chicken that has great stats, but I can't eat this every day unless I want burn out.

Have any of you stumbled across any frozen dinner gems?

Thanks for sharing.

Two things for the non cooker here.  Healthy Choice Lemon Fish dinner.  I add my own soy sauce to the fish.  Don't eat the apple crust thing, but enjoy the broccoli.  The other thing is bring out the old crock pot.  Put fresh vegetables (the color of the rainbow...for health) and lean chicken or beef.  Add some salt, pepper and seasonings...slow cook for hours and you're good to go.  I freeze 2/3 of the stuff for days or weeks later.  Brian

Ditto on the sodium and sugar levels.

Quick food choices for me?

Reduced fat PB and Banana sandwich on whole grain wheat bread
Or
Fruit, Ice, Juice, Protein Powder smoothie from the blender
Or
Frozen cooked and peeled Shrimp with Great Value brand ****tail sauce (lowest in sugar content and good taste); just nuke or rinse in ho****er then cold and eat
or
Chef Boy-ar-Dee Beef Ravioli
Or
2 Pure Protein Chocolate Delux protein bars and 1 bottle water
Or
Scrambled egg whites with shredded cheddar cheese; sometimes w/ diced flour tortilla

Hope any of that helps.

I took a quick look at your profile and I'm glad that you're back with OH.  I look forward to reading your posts.  You should be an inspiration for newbies.

Thanks, I'll try to sound intelligent but that will be a stretch.

I may have to look up that Becks diet book thing from your profile.
Every little bit helps and I have a friend that is bipolar that just had the surgery and he is doing great, but it might be of use to him on his roller coaster ride of recovery from obesity too.

Thanks for the resource.

None, I prefer my food fresh, very fresh! As the OH barbarian I prefer to even get my meat still on the hoof. I cook very well and don't want all the additives and other chemicals in my system. Besides I like knowing I got it and prepared my meals all by myself.
