Tammy- What about dating with the new body? Many moons ago I lost 125lbs after having my stomach stapled. It was very strange to suddenly realize that women were 'checking me out' when I walked into a bar. Made me feel very uncomfortable- lol.
Did that type of attention made me go back to my 'old ways' and thats why I gained the weight back? No idea.
It would make an interesting article. If you would like help in writing something, let me know.

I am completely lost when it comes to figuring out what can be done, who can do it, and how to start the process.
IMO 95% of the issues are more gender based so I would assume most articles already cover both men and women.

I don't read OH magazine, but I bet you would get some response to an article about Mentoring. We do some of it here on-line, but it would be nice if bariatric centers set up a 1 on 1 mentoring program introducing a pre opp or newly post opp patient with a successful WLSer. Or getting a successful wlser together with someone that is having problems keeping weight off 2+ years post since we hear of so many people gaining all or most of the weight back. I have personally mentored a couple of men in my town and am sure I was a great help.
