Well, I can't say that I blame you for leaving and not going back. I never use to prosecute trespassers on my property. I figured that as long as they were just hunting I was OK with it since there are plenty of antelope there. Now, after my F 150 was shot, I prosecute all. After all to even get to my ranch you have to trespass over 8 miles of other people's property.

When I am on my bicycle I just assume no one sees me...And I mean no one.  From walkers, to cats, to other bikers, to cars, assume they are blind to you.

Oh, you have to assume that everyone is blind around you whether on a bike, motorcycle or even in a car. I have found that I have to assume that even when I am out on the ranch. My F150 took a bullet for me from a careless, trespassing, hunter while it was parked in front of one of my cabins. If the truck had not been there to stop the bullet, it may have struck one of us. Thanks for the reminder that safety equipment is just the beginning. Eyes and ears play a big role in diligent safety.

Very good post, Nick ..

I see so often (usually on TT) where some new post-op throws care to the wind and starts engaging in very dangerous activities after their weight loss.   Particularly, I see so many gals in pics on OH biking around w/o helmets on.       If they were to see what happens to biker's heads when they hit the ground w/o a helmet, they might think twice about their lack of concern.

Frank talk about the DS / "All I ever wanted to be was thin, like that Rolling Stones dude ... "
