that reminds me, I need to have a computer added so i can track distance and speed.. thanks

and i dont see the pic

My brother wrote on his blog last summer that his expensive computer ( which a former girlfriend had bought him ) wasn't working well.  So, he went to WalMart and picked one up for $20 that works fine.  Also, after riding through the mountains out West for 5 days, he switched to a gel-filled seat that was extra wide.  He got snickers from other riders but they soon envied him.  I suppose most of you won't have to worry about the butt rash that can develop on long rides.  He said there are several types of butter that treat that malady.

After his cross country ride last year, he's now into running.  I just think it's strange to take that up at 56.  He only rides the bikes for pleasure or charity.

hopefully you can see the pic now.  Yeah, I love tracking my speeds and distance,  mine also tells the time, temp, average speeds, highest speeds etc... Have fun

oh, btw, I did the same thing you did.  I had expected to pay about 700 for a low end road bike. As I test drove them, I kept inching up and finally spend about 1400.  yikes.    BUt, I would rather have something that is good and will last.

I've got the front shocks, good for steps elevated bumps. Saddle is street, nice and wide.  Get a wired tramsmitter, not the wireless.  Just sent my wireless back.
Did 22 miles sat and 18 today. Weather is to good to pass it up

Congrats on the new bike. I just got me a new road bike. My rides are getting longer and my yukon is not getting any lighter so I bought a new ride last week. I'm on skinny tires for the first time in my life. I'm doing about 20 miles a day now.

Hey really nice looking bike.  i love riding.  It still makes me feel like a kid.  I recently bought a Marin hybrid that I like very much.  If I worked my way up to 30 miles, I could never wipe the smile off my face.  We had a great bike expert that was a regular here and he really was helpful with all of the technical questions.  He was also very motivational.

Hope you enjoy riding and be safe out there with the 4-wheeled crazies!
