checking in - 8.5 months post op

been away for awhile, new work schedule is screwing with my life but grateful to have a job these days!

Gonna try and get back into my exercise routine again this week, last week with all the overtime i didn't have time to take a pee it seemed like.

Quick update on the weightloss as I noticed a lot of newcomers since I was last here.  A word of advise is more like it - the weight comes off without effort in the beginning but that is when you need to get into the routine of exercising and make it a habit, I miss it the last couple weeks and it is driving me nuts.  There will come a point within the first year that you will not lose very much if any at all if you aren't workin hard at it.  I am at this point now myself.  I am pleased to say that I have lost 75% of my excess weight and I look forward to the long road of losing that last 25%.

I started out at 425 wearing 6x shirts and 60 pants.  I am now at 245 lbs with 1x shirts and 40 pants.  I can do a number of activities that were impossible before.  It is an emotional roller coaster of a ride.  I have had mood swings and my wife has wanted to kill me a few times.  So be prepared for that aspect of it to affect you in some way.  What ever you do - DON'T GIVE UP!  there is no black and white - if you mess up you can start over again, the tooll will still work!

Almost two hundred pounds you are doing great.
Thanks for the words of encouragement. I'm trying to get into exercise, not easy but I know it's needed.

Things have slowed down for me, but still loosing. I need to get back to the basics. I have been off the OH site for a while myself, trying to get back on track and get the lbs to start dropping faster.
