Sunday Weekly Weigh-In
What are your numbers? What are your successes - and what are you struggling with?
Weight this week is 208.2 which is down another 2 pounds. Energy continues to improve as I did three 10 mile bike rides this week. I really need to start some resistance training to work on my upper body.
Saw my PCP for my three month check-up and my A1c went from 8.3 to 6.6. Total Cholesterol was down to 121 with LDL only 55. Trigycerides were 116. I see my surgeon on Wednesday for the nutrition side of the blood work.

Feelin great with tons of energy just over a year out.
Only prob is after dinner/before bed snacking....worst thing to happen
to me is that I found out I don't dump (yet). Gotta be careful and get back on track....in a mini stall. Just wish I had done this sooner!!

My biggest issue, now that I'm back into the full swing of my schedule, is getting exercise. As temperature and humidity rise, I'm less inclined to walk outdoors (gotta break that rationalization), and I haven't developed the habit to go to the fitness center yet. Even trying to put it into my calendar doesn't work, because I know I can cancel the "appointment" with myself if I get busy with something else. That's what I need to continue to work on.
I have a week at church camp coming up starting next Saturday. I'll get PLENTY of exercise there - just not in one extended period.
