Life began yesterday 6-25-09

I went to the barix clinic in Ypsilanti,MI to get my realize band and in the last 16 days I dropped 18 lbs. that will never be back. Surgery took 2 hrs. instead of the 45 mins my wife was told. Evidently they had trouble intubating me and I aspirated, I had  alot of scar tissue from a 1990 gall bladder surgery not to mention alot of fat around my stomach. Imagine that! I only 333.2 pounds and had fat around my stomach, lol.

We got home around 6 pm and I slept well. I woke up today and feel great. Only one out of 5 incision sites has drainage and that is where most pain is but all in all I am doing great. You can add me as a friend and you can see the naked ugly truth. I will bekeeping my journey updated mainly on my blog and dropping by here occasionaly.... Terry  

Congratulations, you will enjoy the new chapter of your now longer life.  Check in here often, a lot of the guys in here think they are pretty smart.  Together we should be able to solve the world's problems, or maybe help you through a rough spot.

Well the truth part I can handle its the naked part that scares me. I've see enough naked fat men over the years just gazing at myself in the mirror to give me a nightmare the rest of my life.

It certainly sounds like you had an ordeal.. I'm really glad everything turned out okay...... After all that I'm surprised they sent you home. Since they did that must mean you're doing just fine. Do keep us posted.. Congratulations!!!!

Ya I am normal cause the naked part scared me but not no more because I am only gonna get smaller. thanks for your support.

    Welcome to the men's loser locker room. There is plenty of bench space for you. Seems the more guys that sit here the more space there is. Must be all the shrinking going on.
