Some body fat percentage levels are more culturally valued than others, and some are related to better health or improved athletic performance. Actual levels of body fat are dependent on sex and age.[2] The minimum and maximum listed below are not a universally accepted as correct. [3]
My Doc send a small current through to measure muscle density. He said he wanted me to be at 16-18 and I was getting close.
I bel;ieve that BMI and scales dont give you the healthiest picture. This science is not exact and is still under study. Obesity has moved research to the front of the stove.
My Doc seemed more concern with my age, bone sizes, workout routine.
The long and short of it, my weight goals have changed. At one point I was setting my goal for a 5'9" male at 170lbs. My muscle mass and fat mass leans more to 185lbs. with a 35" waist and 44" chest
