Home for the Hospital

Had surgery on the 18th at 1pm and was walking in the ICU by 1pm the next day. I was told I set a record on the most walking a day after post-op, of course they could say that to everone. I get moved to a regular room that afternoon and was discharged at 12 this afternoon(21st). I an coming home drain free and I am happy to say I am currently farting nicely, so no gas pain yet. I have to give myself shots twice a day to help keep the blood thin. Blood clots are still a concerns because of my BMI. I am very glad to be home, I am very sore, but my honey bunny is out filling my scrips as I type. Still loks like 4 to 6 weeks til I am able to work, but I woke up from the surgery and feel like I have new lease on life. I can't wait to kick this weight-loss into high gear. As for what I took to the hospital, I traveled light all I took was my c-pap, toothpaste, and the clothes I wore in.

Guess what?  You've already kicked this weight-loss into high gear!  Next month you won't take up near as much room on the loses bench!!!!

congrats.  I'll throw another steak on the grill for you.  LOL  No Jack Daniels for awhile, shower with care, sip, sip, walk, think Cosby jello. and lots of sex to or from someone.  Follow the plan.  Its a new day

Congratulations.  Take things slowly.  So, you're farting and not having problems with gas.  Soon you'll be telling us about your FARTS.

it'll take a week or so to get into the groove, do what ur NUT tells you and share a lot. I have lost 60kg with 30 to go, all in 6months
