What was your average weight loss?
Hi guys! I had RNY myself almost six months, and so far, my weight loss has been quite in sync with the average loss I found here for a women with my BMI. My average loss was about 20 lbs on my first month and 10 lbs every month since, or a total loss of 70 lbs in 6 months.
My hubby is going to have his RNY in September and I'm browsing for him. Yep, I'm not only the guinea pig of the family since I went first, but he gets online support by proxy

Of course I now that we all loose different and all that jazz, and that you guys a blessed by nature with muscles and loose wayyyyyyyyyy faster than we women do, but I'm just trying to guesstimate.
He is 6" and 343 lbs.

Im 6' 3" and lost 150lbs. I started at 358 or so. Ask him to come on in and post and we will be glad to answer any of his question. Carefull you might get some stern words asking you not to post on the mens board. Some of us like are women free zone......lol not me though!

Dittos to what Derrick says about having hubby post this himself instead of you asking. While all of OH is open to be read we, the men folk, like to leave the writing on the walls in this man cave to us! 
There are a few exceptions to women posting here. One if they are OH staffers. Secondly if they are posting something regarding their male significant other like you are doing. Thirdly when hubby gets surgery and you let us know how it went - that is within the "rules".
In response to your question don't be surprised if he blows through 100 pounds in less than four months. That is very common among male RNY's. Don't ask me the "why" but male RNY's lose weight faster than women.
