I was invited to a turkey hunt over Memorial Day Weekend. Although I had re-injured my back a few weeks before and was in great pain. I went and hunted. I did have to be driven to the hunting blind in a golf cart, but I did manage to pull off a successful hunt. It was worth the pain and here is the result:

This was a 24 lbs Tom with an 11 1/2" beard for those that care to know. We will eat well at my house!

Now this guy could never have squatted down to take the shot and if he had tried he would have never gotten up!

And he would have needed this ATV without the bad back.

I dont have much to post since I had my Surg on the 15th. That's manly enough right?..  I do some work for an Artist and he had a nude erotic art party in Miami that I missed.. Even though I missed it I did some work on it from home..

here are my adds to manly monday. This tree was dmaged during our ice storm in dec 08. It was uses as a cut threw from a neighbors house into the woods by the school. I spiked up and cut off the snapped tops then dropped the butt.






In the beginning of my journey I statrted at 522, day of surgery 447, now 304.

Now nothing can be more manly than lumber-jacking! One of the only things I think could come close to being that manly, Scott , would be something like caber tossing. Or maybe strong man contests would be close. But falling a tree, lumber-jacking it right there at the top!

OK, OK... I had surg on May 15th. I started at 435. Day of Surg was 399. Today June 8th I am 372..

So here is a before and 2 week out pic... Don't feed the bears.....




Here is a pic of my innards.. haha I wanted a pic and they gave me this in recovery.. Bad ass if you ask me..  You can see the staple line of my new stomach and the part to the left is what was removed..

All that yellow stuff is fat...This pic makes me hungry.. I had no sucess of keeping what they removed
