I had an enormous FART when I got home from work yesterday!!

Believe it or not, I came home from work yesterday and lo and behold, Mike had cut, edged, trimmed the lawn immacutely!!! Usually, I have to ask him 2 or 3 times. He even bagged all the cuttings, trimmed the trees and but all the yard waste to the curb.

After thanking him and telling him how great a job he did, I privately asked my wife, "Ok, he wants something"(LOL). And when I thanked him he said he just thought he'd do it before I asked him.

You think they never listen and then out of the blue something like this happens.

It made my day!!!

That's great Mike. It is always cool when something like that happens. Now, how long would it take him to get to Oklahoma to do mine? haha. Only kidding, of course. I remember when I was a kid, teen, and now an adult, it doesn't matter what my parents always asked me to do, even if I was going to do it anyway it seemed I didn't want to do it just because they wanted me to. I'm stubborn and a little rebellious. Sometimes I want to do things without people thinking I'm doing it just because they want me to. Sometimes I want to do things because I want to do the right thing.

Anyhow, that's cool.

You can bet I did. I'll even tell him I was bragging on him at work and online when I go home later.

 I'm totally confused ..    are you referring to yourself in the 3rd person, and if so, why???

   I was also confused b/c a F.A.R.T. is an accomplishment relating to our weight loss.   I was trying to figure out how your losing weight caused him to do the yard instead of you ..   (unless he also had WLS) ..  

It's a FART because since my surgery he has been stepping up and helping a lot more without anyone asking.
