I had my one week doc visit one day early. I lost 12lbs... and boy did I drop a lot of inches too..   Everything looks good, I will spend one more week on Fulls and then I get softy food... hell yea more options...

Everything is good.. He is amazed with my progress and bounce back recovery. He's seen few do it.  If I was working hell I would have been back to work next day..

Thank you all again...

Just wait til u buy that 2" NY Strip and find out thats a weeks worth of meals or u go out for a meal and you'll find the same thing.  Get a take-out box ahead of time and place 80% away.  No pouch troubles.
Water makes the pot trip much EASIER. Most of my ah**** moments came from eating to much to fast and to close to my fluids.  My pouch rules and has my food budget down bout 60%
Good luck

Congratulations on your success so far!  I know you are eager to get further along with your eating but I just want to say to make sure you don't ru****  Personally, the only part of going back in the various food stages that I despised was the soft food portion.  I guess I would have been ok if I had just stuck to pureed fruit and veggies along with protein shakes.  But, for some reason I had pureed meat and that was really nasty tasting.  Maybe it would have been better with some seasoning, but I don't like most spices and/or peppers.

I don't know if there's much difference between the VSG diet and the RNY diet.  I know a lot of men like chili but that's another thing that I generally find too spicy.

So, you will have more options.  Ask guys here for suggestions if you need any on other soft foods.

The thing I'll be interested in is, they say since they remove most of your stomach you appetitte goes down that much also. So please let us know in the coming weeks if before when you'd eat, now you don't even feel hungary. Or maybe you'll still be hungary but instead of polishing off a row or 2 of oreo cookies, now you can only have 1 cookie.

You get hungry but its not like before its mostly head hunger you don't feel like your starving. Soft foods like beans and cottage cheese you can it more of like 5 oz. right now meats I can only eat about 3 oz. you get full fast and you will not want to eat for awhile.

At a little over 1 year out I would say 80% of the time I am dealing with head hunger over physical hunger, unless I am a couple of hours past my normal meal times.

Being a year out do you still eat small portions and then get full?

I want the VSG so that I am forced to eat small portions and the urges to eat go away.
