ONE YEAR OUT TODAY
All I can say is I cant belive the ride the last year has been. Today I celebrated by going to the local amusement park and riding all the roller coasters that I could not have fit on one year ago weighning in at 436 lbs. Today I weigh in at 235 lbs. I am an avid mountain biker/ cyclist. I am a more active parent and I have grown to love the person I am. My diabetes is gone My sleep apnea is gone, My hypertension is gone. I have had to go in for one other surgery (gall bladder removal) but that was a piece of cake. I am just starting to explore plastic surgery for skin removal. I wan the MOOBS gone along with the Panni. I hope to have that done by December. All in All I feel GREAT! If I had to do it all ovver again the only thing I would have changed is how soon I had it done. I would not have waited so long.
See you all again soon I will try not to be such a stranger but this more active life style takes up a lot of my time. Less time being sedatary in front of this computer.

Being a "newbie", 4 weeks post op, it gives me confidence and confirmation that I made the right decision.
Two of my goals are:
1. To take my daughter horseback riding. She has always wanted to go but the stables won't allow anyone over 250 lbs to ride the horses.
2. Like you to ride roller coasters. Living in Orlando we used to take the kids to Islands of Adventure(Universal) and I would have to watch them ride. I want to be able to go and ride all of the coasters with them for a change.
Thanks for the great post!

Hey CDeck,
Haven't seen you around in a while. I'm about 6 months ahead of you as I'll celibrate 18 months next week. I remember mailing you some fat clothes last summer. Looks like you don't need them anymore. Congratulations and keep your nose to the grindstone. My experience has been that, just like in your old life, once you let something back in, it's hard as hell to kick it out. I'm on a real struggle with granola bars and heavily doctored coffee right now. I'd like to still be in the stage where I'm wary of anything that's not protein or water, but I've moved on.
