Tuesday Coffee Talk
Good Tuesday morning everyone! Time to rise and shine. I'm better. In bed relaxing, but better. Torey is here and we are going to go for a ride later today. I do feel better though. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. Thanks most especially to Glenn and Brenda for the AWESOME care I was given. These 2 people are wonderful!
Our challenge for today is to have a you day. Some days we need a you day. Do something nice for yourself. Treat yourself to something only you can enjoy. You deserve it!

I just had my regular instant coffee and DaVinciGorumet Hazlenut syrup. I'm in a rut--it's either caramel or hazelnut. My wife gets them at Sam's Club about $3 cheaper per bottle than any of the online stores. Variety is limited, but it's worth it to me. Otherwise, I'd be going to DD for flavored coffee or latte. This may not be cheap, but it's definitely cheaper than DD.
By the way, there was a discussion on the Main Forum yesterday about getting flavored coffees at Starbuck's, Dunkin Donuts, and McD's. McD's always has sugar in its flavored coffees. You can apparently get SF syrups at the other 2. Some people said that they have to actually watch at DD to make sure that they don't use the sugared syrups even though sugar free is available. I know that I can go to my local DD and specify sugar free and sweetened with Splenda and they will give me what I want. One of the people said to tell the clerk that you are diabetic ( even if you are not) to ensure that they do not put sugar in your coffee.
