6 mos out and gaining

Just left the Doc's office and weighed 218 down some but the good news is I added 2.24 lbs of muscle.  .  We agreed  to see greater fat to muscle exchange and a target around 178lbs.  This will help assure a lasting target weight..  Also said I need 1900 cals daily just to breath and keep my eyes open.   If I start starving with 950-1100 cals my body will rebel and will use every available calorie to turn into fat and start burning the muscle off and start adding fat storage.
My PCP mentioned he was referring me to a sports doc for a new workout routine
My Surgen and I always enjoy each other as we are about the same age and are Aholes, horse lovers, and in need of a job.  He said alot of people are holding off on WLS for, and get this, afraid of taking time off and the co-pays are going up.  I said, I thought this was the hottest game in town.  He said not any more.  I told him he can work for me and I can work for him and we'll trade old fart stories No pay checks, just fart stories.
