I am Back.
I'm glad you're back and doing ok. But, it's hard for me to relate to my first RNY where I needed a special bed. I'd stand up at the heel of the bed and they'd raise it almost vertically to meet me. I would lie down by leaning against the bed while they lowered it. I could only get out of bed by them rasising it. I tried to get up by myself and fell immediately and scared the crap out of the staff on duty. I stayed in the hosp for 2+ weeks following that RNY and had to go home by ambulance.
My 2nd RNY went a lot better. I eventually was up and walking and only stayed in the hosp about 2 or 3 days after the RNY. My brother was able to drive me home that time.
