I am Back.

Surg took only 55 min.  The dumb ass nurse would not let me have ice chips.. they gave me a sponge on a stick to wet my mouth.  The night nurse gave them to me and it was like striking gold.. they were so yummy.. haha

I didn't take any of the morphine the whole time i was there. 

haha I pissed Green, yes green

omg how do i fart i have the worst gas pains.. its growling and then pain and nothing...

I took a gas strip yesterday but dont know if it worked...

surg friday at 8:30am  released sat at 3:00pm

I couldn't have anything till after the leak test which was 24hrs after surgery so I hear ya on the dry mouth. Walk walk and walk some more is whats suppose to help with the gas. I was pretty gassy for the first week and all I could do was burp.
Congrats on finally getting it done its all down hill from here.

i spoke to soon. took a nice hot shower bent over to pick up the towl and blew the hair off the dogs head.. haha now i have it coming out both ends...  i am going for a walk now.... haha.

glad to hear you are doing well.  keep walking and that gas will go away.  sorry to hear your dog went bald.

my nurse was a troll who kept threatening me with putting in a cath if i didnt pee.. so I pissed Green and she got scared and didnt know what to do.. I laughed her cause the stuff they leak test with was blue...


then her trainee stepped on the effing IV and ripped it out my arm..  this was before she decided to go pinching my toes and one of them was ingrown that i got the nerve to trim up to stop the pain before surg.  not to mention the healing ulcer i have on my inner ankle that she put her thumb in... I screamed and told her she should be waiting tables in some podunk small town and not be anyplace near the med field..   Chart said eveything not to touch......

i spent more time fighting off the people wanting to give me morphine then resting...  6 times they tried to shoot me up..

It wasn't funny then I'm sure, but it'll be funny later. One of my wife's favorite stories about me coming out from under the anesthesia was my nurse trying to ask me some questions to determine my cognitive condition and I couldn't understand what the hell it was she was talking about. After a while my wife tells me I looked straight at the nurse and asked her, "Do you work at the f*#kin' Sonic or something?" I can never understand those people at the Sonic Drive In due to the static in the intercom. And the fact that most of them are mouth-breathers.
