Good morning gents,
I am holding at 193. Been up and down a pound several times this week. Did a 3 mile hike yesterday, and have done a lot of walking throughout the week. Worked with the Pilates ball several times this week and dumb bells most every day. Feeling good - lots of energy still.
So what are your successes this week? What are you struggling with?
HW - 263
SW - 260
CW - 193
GW - 185

I weighed this morning and had mixed feelings. I will be 3 weeks post surgery tomorrow. I was happy to see I am now below 300 lbs. But, I guess I was a little disappointed to see I only lost 4 lbs in the last week. I'm still feeling a little weak and dizzy at times and my wife wanted to go fishing today but I feel drained today and had to stay home. I couldn't see myself out in the 90 degree heat for six hours fishing.
Down about 2.5 pounds this week to 231.6 for a total of 48.4 pounds lost. I will be seven weeks out next Tuesday. I am still stuck on soft foods, anything solid comes right back up after three or four bites and yes I am observing the rules. Right now I am tryng to get down a protein shake and even that is giving me fits. My real conern is that we are going on a weeks vacation next week and I assumed that I would be able to eat a little. We will see what the coming weeks brings. I would love for my energy to come back up so that I could do more than go to work and get the basic chores done around the house. It will get better!
Get weighed on the 18th. Got a complete physical set up for tomorrow.. 3 hrs of poking and walking. Hope to have good labs - will see.
Biked today down the trails in DC.
If any of u guys are vacationing in DC make sure u see the Air and Space and American museums. These are what the rest of the world measures up to. They had an Army exhibit on the mall. lots of gear, vehicles, guns and bang bang stuff. Kids climbing all over tanks, bradleys, hummvies, playing war with giant machine guns etc.
Came home and cooked some ears of corn, phillips cream of crab soup and watching tiger make a come back
good luck on the journey

I'm up about 1.5 pounds this week. I think I lost quite a bit of water weight the week before with the strep throat and I couldn't eat or drink. Now that I'm better, i'm rehydrating. We went to the NC zoo yesterday and walked about 4 miles through the park then I hiked an additional 1.6 miles from the exit back to the entrance while the family took the shuttle bus.
I'm ten days beyond RNY surgery. Still no pain, and I'm down about 15 pounds from surgery date. From my peak (318) and surgery date (286), both on doctor's scales clothed, I was 268 today on my home scale in my shorts only.
Energy is up-and-down, but that's to be expected. I'm not going to push myself too hard this week - I'm going to go to the office for a few half-days, but otherwise take it easy and work from home.
Walking has been good. It's about a half-hour (at current walking speed) from my house to my office at church. I'll probably walk it tomorrow, which is why I'll need to take it easy afterwards!
