First FART

Went for my two week post op check up today and I've lost 40 ibs since I started the liquid diet on 4/13 379 three weeks prior to op down to 339 high weight 390. Been try ing on clothes I haven't worn in years and today I was able to buy a pair of size 42 shorts.
My only question is were's the inch I was suppose to gain I was looking forward to that more then anything else.

Congratulations on your first breakage of the wind!  May you have many more to come and I KNOW you will!

Better analogy to the situation is think of a post being buried in the ground.  If it is 7' long with 3' in the ground and you remove 1.5' of dirt then you get more 1.5' of "usable" post sticking out of the ground.  The post can't "grow" any longer than what is was when it came off the truck.  Dammit.  
 
If you want to help the post appear bigger while you are waiting to remove more of the topsoil might I suggest clearing the brush if you don't do so already!?

HAHA. Great analogy.... It'll all happen in due time 2liter. You will shrink in all the right spots and grow in the right spots as well (it seems, anyway). Give it another couple months and you'll be a new man.
