My First goal

I hit my first goal of 399. Was not by Monday cause they changed my date anyway.  I am shooting for 9 more lbs before my surg next Friday. For a total of 45 lost pre op. Then I will be 150 from my goal of 240.

The Last time I was at 399 was Aug 21, 2006, then on Aug 22 my mom passed while in recovery after a heart transplant. She never woke up.  I was doing my version of Atkins then, working out 6 times a week all that went out the window.

I went from over eating to not eating/not eating right.

I've shed all my depression weight.  You can't diet and morn at the same time.  I'd sit on my gym everyday with a bottle of Jack. Had to close my business, couldn't deal with that stress too, I had a bottle of Jack at my shop, lol if someone walked in i put this small lamp shade on it.

I put all my guns in the pawn shop so I wouldn't do anything stupid.

I'm head strong now. My depression is not that bad now. Trips to the beach and a ride in a fast ass car with a nice lopey cam fixes that. Drive it like its stolen.

thanks for reading...    Have a kick ass day!!!!

great work hitting your fist goal!  after the WLS, you will find that with the proper dilligence and hard work, the weight will melt away.
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

right now.  somewhere.  somebody is working harder than you.

Good job on the pre wls weight loss. I am glad my surgeon didnt require a loss before my surgery. Not sure if I could have done it.....

I went through a bought of depression and drinking when my dad passed also. It sucks but we get better and move on. There is nothing like some time at the beach to make me feel better. But I live in oregon and we dont see the sun much here. As for the car I'll have to take your word on that.....lol

Congrats and good luck with your surgery.
